Embark on an epic 3-day trekking adventure in Patagonia with our exclusive journey through some of the most breathtaking landscapes in El Bolsón. This excursion is perfect for trekking and nature enthusiasts seeking an unforgettable mountain experience.

Day 1: Natación refuge and Natación lagoon

We start the day with a morning transfer from your accommodation to the trailhead at Warton. From there, we'll ascend to Refugio Natación, enjoying a delicious packed lunch along the way. Upon arrival at the refuge, you'll have time to explore the beautiful Laguna Natación and the nearby waterfalls, while our photographer captures highlights in a natural amphitheater setting. Depending on the season, you might also enjoy views of nearby glaciers. At the end of the day, you’ll have the option to enjoy dinner at the refuge before resting for the night in a cozy mountain environment.

Day 2: Ascent to Hielo Azul hill

After a hearty breakfast, we’ll begin our ascent to the majestic Cerro Hielo Azul. Along the way, you’ll have a mountain lunch and marvel at the panoramic views from the summit. After reaching the peak, we’ll descend back to Refugio Natación, where you can relax and optionally have dinner at the refuge. We’ll spend the night at the refuge, enjoying the tranquil atmosphere and the company of fellow adventurers.

Day 3: Return to El Bolsón

On our final morning, we’ll make our scenic return to El Bolsón. During the journey, we’ll stop for lunch at the confluence of the Azul and Encanto Blanco rivers, a spot of extraordinary beauty. Finally, we’ll transfer you back to your accommodation in El Bolsón, concluding this memorable experience.

The overnight stay at the refuge is subject to availability because a reservation cant be done
Sleeping Bag
It is essential to bring a sleeping bag, because the shelter does not provide bedding.
Trekking clothing
We recommend bringing: Comfortable and resistant pants (preferably trekking pants that can dry quickly). Breathable long and short sleeve t-shirts (depending on weather conditions). Additional layers like a sweatshirt or light jacket to protect you from wind or cold, especially in the early morning or evening.
Accessories
We recommend bringing: Sunglasses with UV protection. Sunscreen. Small backpack to carry water, snacks and your personal belongings. Trekking poles (optional but useful to help you on uneven terrain).
Footwear
We recommend wearing: Trekking boots or comfortable but resistant shoes, preferably waterproof and with good ankle support.
Dinner
The overnight stay at the shelter includes the use of the kitchen. The refuge also offers dinner
