Roca Negra refuge - Cerro Lopez in the afternoon

Twilight – dusk time 2:00 p.m. / 8:30 p.m.: Chocolate fondue. late night activity

Excursion:

Passengers will be picked up by the previously scheduled pick up and will be will approach the base of Cerro López. From there we begin the ascent, in 4x4 vehicles, along a steep mountain road between the centuries-old Coihues forest and high lengas. The curves of the road are natural viewpoints towards the immensity of the National Park Nahuel Huapi, with its lakes, islands and mountains. After having taken the first photographs we begin our walk. We equipped ourselves with Snowshoes and our guide explains how they work and how to walk with them. The racket is a instrument that fits our footwear and allows us to travel through snowy areas without sinking. During the tour (approximately one hour) the guide tells us about the place and we enjoy of the natural beauty that this mountain has to offer us. After the walk, we are given a warm welcome at Roca Negra, where we enjoy of a chocolate fondue accompanied with fresh fruit, vanilla cookies and nougat. There at the top, and with an excellent view of the region, we shared our snack. We descend, in 4x4 vehicles, to the base of the hill where the excursion ends and passengers are taken to their respective hotels.
