San Martin de los Andes (AR)

Overview

We start by picking up passengers from each of the accommodations before heading towards the activity area located along the famous Seven Lakes Route.

Traversing this stretch of Route 40 through Seven Lakes allows us to enter one of nature's grandest spectacles, winding through lakes, valleys, snow-capped peaks, and deep canyons.

Upon arrival, after a 30-minute transfer, the guide will give a briefing on the use of snowshoes that will help us navigate this incredible place.

The route is generally flat, although in several sections we will encounter steep inclines that, although we will tackle slowly, will be somewhat more demanding but necessary to reach several of the breathtaking high-altitude views.

Pure high-altitude forests, streams, the sounds of snow under our feet, and the unforgettable scents of the forest will accompany us closely and intimately as we traverse the towering mountains of the Andes.

After just over an hour of hiking, we will arrive at a special spot to enjoy a snack with different options that vary from handmade Alfajores, homemade cakes, or Tortafritas accompanied by tea, coffee, mate, or other snacks.

The return to San Martin de los Andes, with the sun now in a different position, will present a landscape with a very different perspective, giving us the last photos of a dreamy sunset, which we will not only keep in our cameras but also forever in our memories.
