Overview

Embark on an extraordinary adventure with our trek to Filo Falso Belvedere, an experience that offers stunning views and a journey through diverse landscapes. The hike begins on the lands of the Lof Paicil Antriao community, adding an authentic touch to your adventure.

The trail is well-defined throughout, guiding you through a captivating forest of lenga trees, colihue canes, and rosehip bushes. At various points along the way, you'll catch glimpses of the surrounding scenery, heightening the anticipation of what lies ahead.

As you approach the summit, the terrain becomes steeper and more challenging. Near the cross at the top, you'll notice your feet sinking into the volcanic ash from the Puyehue eruption, making the final stretch a true test of your perseverance.

Once you reach the ridge, you'll be rewarded with a panoramic view of nature at its finest. Here, you can enjoy a lunch picnic to make your rest truly unique and complete. From this vantage point, you can admire Lake Nahuel Huapi with its numerous arms, islands, and the Quetrihué Peninsula. You’ll also see the majestic Cerro Tronador, the winding rivers, and Lake Espejo, along with the impressive Andes mountain range, Cerro Pantojo, and an unparalleled view of Cerro Belvedere and Cajón Negro.

Prepare for a hike filled with breathtaking views and the thrill of conquering a challenging path, and enjoy a truly unforgettable experience in the heart of Patagonia.
