On the Route of the 7 Lakes there is a very quiet and paradisiacal Patagonian place located between the towns of San Martín de Los Andes and Villa La Angostura, which is ideal for relaxing and having a pleasant time away from the hyperconnectivity of the cell phone due to which lacks telephone signal.

This place is Quila Quina Beach, which is located in a homonymous region that belongs to the Mapuche Currhuinca community and is open so that tourists can come to spend the day and enjoy the great natural beauty that exists in this site.

It is a hidden beach of white sand and crystal clear emerald water on the shores of Lake Lácar, which has a special microclimate and is surrounded by a mountain range that has abundant native flowers. Quila Quina beach has a gastronomic offer that includes a cafeteria on the pier where the boats dock and is an ideal place to practice water sports such as windsurfing, kayaking and kitesurfing, to name a few examples.

Quila Quina is also a tourist village that is made up of a small number of residential houses, an organized campsite that has a grocery store and restaurant, a wild campsite and a daytime recreational area.

How to get to Quila Quina? Leaving from San Martín de Los Andes, in the province of Neuquén, you must first take the traditional Route 40 and then the RN108. The last stretch before reaching Quila Quina is winding and consolidated gravel, so it is recommended to drive with caution.
