Kayaking in San Martin de los Andes - Minimum 4 passengers

San Martin de los Andes is one of the most wonderful places in Argentine Patagonia for kayaking. Journeying by kayak allows us to reach remote and otherwise inaccessible places with relative ease.

Via the lake route, we access completely private beaches for ourselves or our group, as the rugged mountains surrounding the lake make any other form of access unthinkable. In fact, its shallow draft allows us to venture into areas where larger vessels could not enter.

The silent glide of the kayak harmonizes with the surrounding environment, allowing us to enjoy the natural sounds of the lake or the forest. The lake breeze and its distinctive scent, mixed with the aroma of the surrounding woods, will be a constant companion.

The water is transparent, and our sight reaches the bottom, many meters distant, where we'll see trout, algae, rocks, submerged trees, and in some cases entire forests that were submerged and remain standing as a testament to the ever-living and changing earth movements.

After learning basic paddling and rescue techniques, we will explore the most beautiful and solitary beaches, some inaccessible by land, and you will see why San Martin de los Andes is a unique place. Caves, waterfalls, islands, and much more await.
