Overview

Embark on a captivating trekking experience at the Neumeyer Refuge, located in the picturesque Challhuaco Valley.

Upon arrival at Neumeyer Refuge, we'll start the trail next to the refuge’s iconic domes. The well-marked path winds through a charming lenga forest, giving you an initial glimpse of the region’s natural beauty. After a few minutes of hiking, you will reach a panoramic viewpoint offering spectacular views.

We will continue to the Laguna de Los Patos, a must-see spot to admire its serene surroundings. From there, the trail splits. We will take the right-hand route toward the Laguna Verde. It's important to note that access to Laguna Verde is restricted to protect the habitat of the Challhuaco frog, but you can still enjoy the scenic beauty from a safe distance.

We will proceed to the “Mirador del Pedregoso,” a viewpoint offering an impressive panorama of the city of Bariloche and Lake Nahuel Huapi. Here, we’ll provide you with a food service corresponding to the trekking schedule so you can relax and take in the views before heading back.

The return journey follows the same trail, and at the end of the hike, our transfer will take you back to your hotel or meeting point.
