Embark on an unforgettable adventure through the magical landscapes of Patagonia with our day trek in El Bolsón! This journey will take you to explore two of the region's most stunning waterfalls: Mallín Waterfall and Hidden Waterfall.
Early Departure: Start the day with a transfer from your accommodation to the starting point on Route 40, north of El Bolsón. From here, we’ll set off on a trek deep into Patagonia’s natural beauty.
Mallín Waterfall: We will begin the walk where you will be surprised by the majesty of the Mallín Waterfall. Its imposing waterfall and the virgin environment that surrounds it offer a natural spectacle worth admiring.
Hidden Waterfall: We will continue our trek to Hidden Waterfall, where you’ll have the chance to enjoy a Patagonian picnic in a spectacular setting. While savoring your snack, marvel at the unique botanical garden located at the base of the waterfall.
Arroyo del Medio: Hidden Waterfall is formed by Arroyo del Medio, which cascades over 30 meters through a natural crevice, creating a series of falls that vary with the seasons. You’ll have the opportunity to get close to the base of the waterfall and see the erosion pool shaped by the water over the years.
Return in 4x4: After the trek, return in a 4x4 vehicle to El Bolsón, where we will take you back to your accommodation.

Trekking clothing
We recommend bringing: Comfortable and resistant pants (preferably trekking pants that can dry quickly). Breathable long and short sleeve t-shirts (depending on weather conditions). Additional layers like a sweatshirt or light jacket to protect you from wind or cold, especially in the early morning or evening.
Accessories
We recommend bringing: Sunglasses with UV protection. Sunscreen. Small backpack to carry water, snacks and your personal belongings.
Trekking poles (optional but useful to help you on uneven terrain).
