Transfer and Preparations: The day begins with a comfortable transfer from the center of San Martín de los Andes to the trailhead. Enjoy a brief, scenic drive that will take you to the starting point of this fascinating hike.
The Trail: Once we start the hike, we’ll enter a trail surrounded by native forest, offering a peaceful and refreshing environment. The initial section of the trail is relatively flat and easy to navigate, allowing you to adjust to the hiking pace while appreciating the local flora.
As we progress, the trail gradually ascends, leading us to panoramic views of Lake Lácar and its surroundings. Our first stop is at La Islita, a small but charming island on the lake known for its serene beauty. Here, you can enjoy the views and take photos as the crystal-clear water and lush surroundings create an idyllic setting.
We’ll then continue our trek to Playa Bonita, a beach with soft sand and calm waters. This is the perfect spot to relax and fully enjoy nature. At the beach, we’ll take a break to enjoy a delicious snack and a hot drink, providing you with the comfort needed to recharge.
Return: After relaxing at Playa Bonita, we’ll begin our descent back to the starting point. The return to the center of San Martín de los Andes will be by our provided transport, concluding the day with comfort and satisfaction.
